Worker justice organizations have historically found themselves often at odds with capital, or shall we say with Das Kapital. But times have changed, and we increasingly see strategies to advance worker justice through new relationships and partnerships with financial actors.
This is an important shift for anyone who cares about the intersection of finance and social justice. For this reason we have worked for the last year to support emergent capital-facing strategies with six organizations that made up the 2019 Transform Finance Cohort: The Future of Workers is Now!
As the Cohort comes to a wrap, the six Cohort members will be presenting their initiatives to a group of supporters and investment practitioners. From the Transform Finance angle, this is a unique opportunity to be true to our credo of building a bridge between investors and social justice leaders.
